About Mariola Grzeszczyk, NP
Mariola Grzeszczyk is board certified as a Family Nurse Practitioner. She completed her bachelor's and master's of science in nursing at the Resurrection University in Chicago with a graduate program focus as a Family Nurse Practitioner with extensive clinical experience in Women’s Health. Mentorship provided by Dr. Denise Furlong, whose passion and dedication in caring for her female population, shaped Mariola into a compassionate, enthusiastic and devoted provider as she is today.
Mariola came to the USA from Poland to study the English language and was given the opportunity to work at the medical office, where she developed a passion for nursing. Working along with amazing nurses, nurse practitioners, and doctors, she knew that her future was in the medical field. She was aware that it would be a long way to achieve what she had planned for herself – to become a nurse practitioner one day. Over the next few years, she was taking English classes and required prerequisite courses to enter nursing school. At the same time, she was raising her beautiful baby girl and worked multiple jobs that were closely related to the medical field and allowed her to pursue her dreams and provided financial support through undergraduate and graduate schools. After finishing her BSN, she became her career as a registered nurse at Amita Healthcare where she gained her experience and knowledge working in medical, surgical, telemetry, and emergency care departments. She loved caring for all of her patients, but her heart was always closed to women’s health. Being a woman and a mother helped her related and understand the female patients on a different level. Finally, after gaining valuable experience as a registered nurse, Mariola entered the graduate program at Resurrection University to fulfill her lifelong dream of becoming a Nurse Practitioner.
She enjoys a quiet, suburban life with her family and her adopted dog. She likes spending her free time with friends and family, reading books, watching movies, hiking, being in nature, traveling, and learning.
Her future professional goals include learning Spanish, obtaining certification in Integrative Medicine and working on Doctor of Nursing Practice in order to expand her knowledge, expertise, and qualifications to provide excellent and holistic care to her female patients.
